Dr. Mohit Chowdhury is an AIIMS–New Delhi trained D.M. (Gold Medalist) and specially trained from Oxford University Hospitals, an Infectious Diseases specialist whose career blends cutting-edge science with heartfelt compassion. A graduate of Asia’s oldest medical college—Medical College Kolkata—he topped his school, earned National Science Olympiad Rank 13, and secured top ranks in both undergraduate and postgraduate entrances. He has published 6+ PubMed-indexed papers on fungal, tropical, HIV, tuberculosis, chronic organ dysfunction, and COVID infections, contributed to WHO training modules, and received global awards from ESCMID & LMCE. His Oxford training sharpened his expertise in transplant, bone-joint, and tropical infections, while his research continues to advance understanding of complex infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. As the elected Treasurer of AIIMS Resident Doctors’ Association (2024–25), Dr. Chowdhury remains an active leader in healthcare policy and medical advocacy. Fluent in English, Hindi, Bengali, and Marwari, he ensures culturally sensitive care for patients from diverse backgrounds.
